EagleBank Bowl Game Preview

Not the ideal match up as these two teams have already faced off once this year, with Navy Midshipmen prevailing as the winner. Navy has had some quality wins this year and enter this EagleBank Bowl Game as winners of 4 of 5, including 2 straight shutout victories. Navy leads the nation in rushing and is seeking a fourth straight rushing title, but they will have to do it against a solid Wake defense which ranks 21st against the run.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons was predicted to contend for an ACC title this year, but they have struggled at times, especially quarterback Riley Skinner. We know that the Demon Deacons will be up for this EagleBank Bowl Game as they try to avenge their regular season loss to the Midshipmen. This Bowl game will not feature much of an air attack from either team, as both offenses run the option and gain most of their yards along the ground.

EagleBank Bowl Game Prediction

These teams are familiar with each other as they have played once this year, not too much has changed from the first meeting. Navy was spectacular on defense on that day and as you cannot assume that they can create as many turnovers as they did in that game, the game should still be pretty close. Riley Skinner turned the ball over 5 times that day and should have a better game this time around, however, we are going to play the points with the Midshipmen.

EagleBank Bowl Pick: Navy Midshipmen +3
