Are Raptors Fans Booing Chris Bosh Out Of Town?

Chris BoshTotal Pro Sports – You ask why the Toronto Raptors fan’s were booing Bosh when they lost to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night 98-86, well, I’m going to tell you.  It all started on December 1st, when reporters interviewed Bosh after practice, he went on to say that he wanted to win MVP this year. Chris went blabbing on about winning MVP, but not about winning a championship.  This was his first mistake, because as we all know, Toronto fans want championships, not MVP’s.

Now Chris is crying about getting booed.

“If I wanted to get booed, I’d go on the road … Fans, whether they know it or not, they dictate a lot,” [Bosh] said. “They’re a major, major part of the game. You know walking into other buildings, it’s tough to play sometimes if the fans are being supportive, if they’re loud.”

Let’s be serious here Chris, you’re making $14.5 million this year, $15.7 million next year, $17.1 million in 2010/2011, and you’re complaining about a little booing.  If you didn’t know Toronto is infamous for booing athletes out of town.  Last year the Toronto Maple Leafs booed out of town Bryan McCabe, in the 1990’s the Leaf fans booed out of town defenseman Larry Murphy and Todd Gill.

“Murphy got the last laugh on that one, of course, winning back-to-back Stanley Cup rings with the Red Wings.”

We hope your not next Chris Bosh, be a man and suck it up, come out next game and score 40 points and get 20 rebounds like the MVP that you are, or else get used to the booing because it’s going to keep coming!
