NHL Refs Don’t Like Curtis Glencross
Total Pro Sports- During last nights game between the Calgary Flames and Minnesota Wild, Flames forward Curtis Glencross had two goals called back in a matter of seconds. I don’t know for sure but I think that it must be some kind of record.
The first goal looks good to me, but the ref claimed that Glencross was standing in the crease when the puck went in the net. The announcers seem to agree that he was barely in the crease, at the time of the goal. Seconds later, the Flames scored again and it was called a high stick by referee Eric Furlat. After all it didn’t really matter because the Flames won the games 3-2. However, it was a tough day at the office for Glencross.
