Larry Johnson Lashes Out At Tom Haley On Twitter

Chargers Chiefs FootballTotal Pro Sports – Seemingly taking a page out of Terrel Owens‘ playbook, Larry Johnson has decided to use his Twitter to lash out at someone.  But not even T.O. used the free social networking service to take out his frustration on a coach.

After a disappointing effort against the division rival San Diego Chargers, a game in which he gained only 49 yards on 16 carries, the Kansas City Chiefs’ running back had some rather harsh things to say about his coach, Todd Haley.  The following was seen posted on Johnson’s Twitter account.

Quite the impressive resume.  Sounds like Larry is trying to get his father an interview.

But seriously, is playing for Denzel Washington really an important credential for becoming a head coach in the NFL?

We should remind you that Johnson is not the first big name player Haley has bumped heads with.  While serving as the offensive coordinator in Arizona, he and Anquan Boldin had their issues, and prior to that it was T.O. who had some rather unkind words for his then wide receivers coach.

So is Haley at fault here?  Or has he simply suffered the unfavorable luck of having these prima donnas follow him around the NFL.

While we don’t have the answer to that question, what we can tell you is that Johnson’s time in Kansas City may just have run out.  When you are averaging only 2.7 yards per carry and make comments like this to the public, a trip to the free agent market is usually not far behind.
