London Fletcher Leaves It All On The Field…Literally!
Total Pro Sports – How bad are the Redskins? Bad enough to make you want to puke!
We are not yet certain whether it was some sort of sickness, or the terrible play of Jason Campbell and the Redskins offense, but something was making London Fletcher’s stomach turn, causing him to throw up on the sidelines during the first half of a 27-17 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles Monday night.
Fletcher’s actions pretty much sum up what it feels like watching the Redskins when they have the ball. Week seven, much like the previous six, seemed to be a struggle from beginning to end. Although Campbell did finish with 284 yards and two touchdowns, much of that was accumulated in the fourth quarter when the game was already out of reach.
Fans could be heard booing Campbell throughout the entire game and screaming insults in his direction, but coach Jim Zorn never even appeared to even ponder the possibility of pulling his starting quarterback.
As for Fletcher, he was able to hold his lunch for the remainder of the game, but it must have been tough playing on an empty stomach. Where is a sideline hot dog when you need one?
