Texans Can’t Spell Noise or Make Playoffs
The Texans were fighting for their playoff lives yesterday, winning a tough battle with the Patriots but falling short of a playoff berth due to circumstances out of their control (the Jets and Ravens won). While the Texans were doing battle, their fans were doing their best to cheer them on. While they may be passionate fans, their spelling could use a little work. I guess they are better than fans that are just plain jerks though.
I know its an unfair generalization to say all people from Texas are not the brightest, because that is definitely not the case. That being said, the inability to spell such simple words as “NOISE” on a giant sign made specifically for players and TV cameras to read doesn’t reflect well on the people of Texas. Hopefully those people were more careless than stupid. Perhaps the person holding the “I” or the “S” had to go to the bathroom and the seats got mixed up when he got back.
Either way, no sign was going to help the Texans overcome a situation that was not completely in their control. They did make some noise during the season, but the postseason will be lacking in any Houston noise once again.
