Steve Nash Wants a Spot on the Canadian Men’s Hockey Team (Video)
He had his nose broken, and still has the scar. He’s chipped his tooth and has since had it replaced. And he thinks he is ugly. According to Steve Nash, when you combine all these attributes possessed by the Phoenix Suns guard, he should at least get some consideration to play for the Canadian Men’s Olympic hockey team.
After lighting the torch to open the 2010 Vancouver Games, Nash was looking to get even more involved, making his case for a roster spot alongside Flames’ winger Jarome Iginla.
Unfortunately for Steve, Iginla already has another Nash on his line (Rick), along with Sidney Crosby dishing him the puck. That combination was good enough to get Iggy the hat-trick in Canada’s 8-0 opening game romp of Norway. Looks like it will take more than a few cases of Vitamin Water XXX for Steve Nash to get the recognition he feels he deserves.
