The Stat Line of the Night – 2/18/10 – LeBron James

lebron JamesTotal Pro Sports- Last night there was an epic battle between two of this era’s greatest basketball players: LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. And they needed overtime to see which team would get the victory. Both players scored over 40 points, but only one can get the win — and only one can get The Stat Line of the Night.

Carmelo and the Nuggets got the win, and it ended the Cavs’ 13-game win streak. But LeBron went off and put on an amazing performance.

LeBron had 43 points in the contest. He also had 4 blocks and 2 steals. No big deal, right? But add in 13 rebounds and a game-high 15 assists and LeBron had himself a triple-double, the 27th of his career. LeBron’s numbers in the game were sick, much like his season averages. He’s averaging over 30 a game and shooting over 50%. He’s also pulling down over 7 boards a night and dropping over 8 dimes per game.

Carmelo may have got the win, but LeBron is on his way to an MVP ceremony. And he has The Stat Line of the Night for 2/18/10.
