The Stat Line of the Night – 3/4/10 – Zach Randolph

zach randolphTotal Pro Sports- The Chicago Bulls and Memphis Grizzlies met in the Windy City on Thursday night, in a game needed by both teams battling for playoff berths. The Bulls are up and down the seeds for the Eastern Conference. The Grizzlies need to keep winning if they want to land the 8th seed in the West.

It looks as if Zach Randolph wants to play in the postseason. Randolph has the “Bad Boy” tag on him, but he’s been nothing short of spectacular for Memphis this year. Thursday night was no exception, as Randolph led the Grizzlies to an excellent road win – their 6th consecutive – against Derrick Rose and the Bulls.

Randolph was posterized by a Rose dunk, but he ended up getting the last laugh. The Grizzlies overcame the Bulls’ 16-point first quarter lead and then shut down the Bulls in the 4th. Randolph was the main reason. He had 31 points on 12-18 shooting, and the big man with the feathery touch also nailed 7 of 8 free throws. Randolph also cleaned the glass with 18 rebounds. He led all players in points and rebounds for the game and the Griz beat the Bulls 105-96. Zach Randolph has The Stat Line of the Night for 3/4/10.
