The Stat Line of the Night – 4/29/10 – Manu Ginobili

manu ginobiliThis one was almost over before it started. I’m talking about game 6 between the Spurs and Mavericks, although if I was talking about the whole series that would work too. The Spurs opened up a huge 22-8 lead at the end of the first quarter and ended up with a 97-87 victory. They took the series 4 games to 2.

The Spurs had different heroes throughout the series. George Hill stepped up his game, Tim Duncan showed he still wants it and in game 6 it was Manu Ginobili’s time to shine.

Ginobili getting to the basket, taking the Mavs’ fouls and getting to the free-throw line. He sunk 10 of 12 from the line and led the Spurts with 26 points. When he wasn’t scoring or taking it to the rack, Manu was feeding his teammates. He ended up with 5 assists and added 2 rebounds and a steal.

The Spurs move on to take on the Suns in round 2 and Manu Ginobili has The Stat Line of the Night for 4/29/10.
