Alvin Gentry Sick To His Stomach…Before Artest Buzzer Beater!
Here is a word of advice to all. If you are traveling to Los Angeles to take in a Lakers game, stay away from the deep fried avocado. And if that is too much to ask, then at least bring yourself a bag to the game so that when it is ready to come up a few hours later, you will be prepared.
Game five of the NBA’s Western Conference semi-finals had all of the ups and downs of a roller coaster ride, and it seems as though that same roller coaster was turning Suns’ coach Alvin Gentry’s stomach upside down. As a result, Gentry could be seen on the sidelines, sick to his stomach, and that was before witnessing Ron Artest’s buzzer beater which gave the Lakers a 103-101 victory.
During the first half, Gentry was visibly ill, struggling to give his players instructions as he tried his best to hold back the vomit. Unfortunately, there was only so much holding back he could do. And in came the garbage can…
Considering the fact that deep fried avocado already looks like vomit before it goes down, I can only imagine what it looks like when it actually turns into vomit. It’s too bad TNT couldn’t get us a view at what the inside of that garbage can looked like afterwards. On second thought, maybe it is better that they didn’t.
