The Stat Line of the Night – 6/10/10 – Glen Davis

glen davisKevin Garnett didn’t have any reasons to make Glen “Big Baby” Davis cry last night as the Celtics took on the Lakers in game 4 of the NBA Finals. From the looks of his performance last night, this ‘Baby’ is all grown up.

The Celtics needed game 4 in a bad way, as no team has ever erased a 3-1 deficit to come back and win the NBA Finals. The big three of Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce didn’t have their best games, and coach Doc Rivers went to his bench in the 4th quarter. It was a gutsy call in such an important game.

Davis responded by scoring 9 points in the 4th quarter as the Celtics outscored the Lakers 36-27 and completed the comeback win. Davis had 18 points for the game on 7-10 shooting, including 4-4 from the free throw line. He added 4 huge offensive rebounds and 2 steals.

His performance allowed the Celtics to even the series at 2. Glen Davis has The Stat Line of the Night for 6/10/10.
