Flaming Stuntman Does A Home Run Trot (Video)

Many baseball fans will tell you that 2010 has been the year of the pitcher, but I would argue that is has in fact been the year of the home run trot.  And what would lead me to believe such a thing?  Well first there was Kendry Morales’ broken leg following a walk-off celebration.  And only one day later we were treated to a home run trot turned bench-clearing brawl between the Bakersfield Blaze and the Visalia Rawhide.

And now we have this…Perhaps the greatest home run trot ever, performed by stuntman Ted Batchelor at a Savannah Sand Gnats game.  Take a look.

Apparently this is not only the coolest home run trot ever, but it is also a record breaking performance for the longest run while on fire.  It reminds me of something you might see had the makers of NBA Jam created a baseball video game.

“He’s On Fire!” …He sure is!
