USC’s Michael Morgan Gives Hawaii’s Bryant Moniz A Forearm Shiver
NCAA Football is back as the 2010 season kicked off with a bang, courtesy of a shootout between USC and Hawaii at Aloha Stadium, which featured several big plays on offense, some terrible tackling by both defenses, and this forearm shiver from Southern Cal’s Michael Morgan, which sent Hawaii quarterback Bryant Moniz into a daze.
Moniz tried to get up following the hit, but to no avail. He would eventually be helped off the field and did not return, but that didn’t slow down the Hawaii offense as Shane Austin stepped in and connected on six of his nine pass attempts for 141 yards and two touchdowns. However, that was still not enough as USC went on to win this battle of the swiss cheese defenses by a score of 49-36.
