The Stat Line of the Night – 9/23/10 – Jacory Harris
Miami Hurricanes quarterback Jacory Harris may have had a rough week 2 against Ohio State by throwing 4 picks in their 36-24 loss, but last night he acquitted himself very well against rival Pittsburgh.
Harris did throw two more interceptions against the Panthers, but he also threw two more touchdowns. That was two more than Pitt had as a team. Harris was 21-32 passing on the evening for a season-high 248 yards, plus the aforementioned 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
Miami laughed its way past Coach Dave Wannstedt and his Pitt Panthers, giving them a beat down to the tune of 31-3. Nineteenth-ranked Miami moved to 2-1 on the season and Pitt drops to 1-2.
The 6’4″, 200lb. Harris has tons of potential and a lot is expected from him this year after throwing 24 touchdown passes as a sophomore. Miami has already scored 100 points in just 3 games to start the season. If Harris can keep the turnovers to a minimum, Miami may make a lot of noise this year. Jacory Harris has The Stat Line of the Night for 9/23/10.
