The Stat Line of the Night – 11/11/10 – Carmelo Anthony

Everyone was talking about the Heat over the summer, but it was the Lakers and Hornets that were the two undefeated entering into Thursday night’s play. The Heat are a lousy 5-4. But so are the Nuggets — another team that many had high hopes for. They took on the Lakers in Denver on Thursday night.

Carmelo Anthony had it all working on Thursday night. Anthony shot 14-25 from the floor and hit on all 3 of his free throw attempts, finishing the night with 32 points. Anthony also pulled down 13 boards, including 5 off the offensive glass. He led the Nuggets in both points and rebounds. He also added in two blocked shots and two assists.

On a night where the rest of his team was shooting poorly, Anthony shot it well and led the Nuggets to a 118-112 victory, and a huge win over the previously undefeated Lakers. He also out-shined Kobe Bryant. Bryant shot just 11-32 on the night. Carmelo has The Stat Line of the Night for 11/11/10.
