The Stat Line of the Night – 11/25/10 – Tom Brady

The Lions jumped all over the Patriots early on Thanksgiving Day, and you were thinking that Grandma put too much liquor in the punch. Nope, your eyes were not deceiving you. The Lions indeed had 2 touchdowns before the Patriots got one. Maybe Tom Brady was up late surfing the web for Black Friday deals. Hey, everyone loves a deal.

But Brady came alive in the second half. He threw for 4 TDs, with 2 in the 3rd quarter and 2 more in the 4th quarter. 2 went to Wes Welker and the other two went to Deion Branch. The Pats outscored the Lions 35-7 in the second half, leaving the Ford Field crowd stunned.

For the game, Brady connected on 21 of 27 passes for 341 yards, the 4 touchdowns and no interceptions. Brady scored a perfect passer rating of 158.3, the first quarterback to have a perfect passer rating this season. The Patriots are 9-2 and tied for the best record in the NFL.
