Frozen Fisticuffs Fight Of The Night – Three From The Blues vs. Blackhawks – 11/30/10
Usually we provide fans with a single fight of the night from the NHL, but there are times when we are left with no choice but to showcase multiple bouts as our “Frozen Fisticuffs Fight of the Night.” Last night was one of those instances.
Those in attendance at the United Center for Tuesday night’s game between the St. Louis Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks were treated to a whole lot of everything, from a high scoring 7-5 back-and-forth battle that saw the home team come away with the victory, to three separate fights that all provided us with a heavy dose of entertainment. The first, and best, bout of the evening took place in the first period between the Blues’ Cam Jansen and the Hawks’ John Scott. That fight was followed by an almost equally entertaining tilt between the Blues’ B.J. Crombeen and the Hawks’ Nick Boynton. And finally, it was the Blues’ Chris Porter and the Hawks’ Jeremy Morin squaring off in the final fight of the night.
Here they are, in the order in which they occurred.
