Taylor U’s “Silent Night” Is The Coolest College Tradition (Video)
When it comes to college basketball, Taylor University hasn’t made much noise. So it therefore only seems appropriate that their school’s greatest tradition is referred to as “Silent Night.”
So how does “Silent Night” work you ask? Simple. Every year on the Friday before fall semester finals week begins, Taylor University hosts a basketball game on their home court. The students of the school pack the stadium wearing pajamas and remains silent until the moment their team records their tenth point of the game. At that point the stadium erupts in madness and the party is on.
This year Taylor University hosted Ohio State-Marion during their annual “Silent Night” game. Here is a look at how things transpired.
