Bruce Boudreau’s F-Bomb Tirade Can Now Be Seen On HBO’s 24/7 Series (Video)
The Washington Capitals have failed to record a win in their last seven games and those following the team are beginning to think that perhaps coach Bruce Boudreau has lost his players. If that were the case, it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise to me. After hearing the Caps’ bench-boss speak to his team during the second intermission of their 3-0 loss to the Florida Panthers, even I found myself lost in his barrage of f-bombs.
HBO’s 24/7 series previewing the Capitals vs. Penguins Winter Classic game premiered last night, giving us an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at both teams as they head into their New Years Day meeting at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There were plenty of interesting stories being played out throughout the entire 60 minutes, but one of the main plot lines revolved around the Caps’ struggles, which have caused Boudreau to continuously drop the f-bomb at what may very well be a record pace.
After allowing a goal with just a few seconds remaining in the second period of a December 9 game against the Florida Panthers, Boudreau unleashed yet another f-bomb tirade on his underachieving team. Unfortunately it didn’t quite work out as planned. The Capitals would allow two more goals in the third period, on route to a 3-0 loss.
So with that being said, we leave you with the following question: Does 15 f-bombs unleashed over the course of a one minute speech ever work as a good motivational tool? Check out the clip below and we’ll let you answer that question for yourself.
