Gang War Ensues Between The Habs And The Pens (Video)
One week ago Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price stopped the Pittsburgh Penguins Chris Kunitz in a shootout to earn his team the victory, and following the save he showcased a bit of his thuggery as he crossed his arms in a gangster-like pose. Penguins netminder Marc-Andre Fleury certainly didn’t forget the gesture and he fired back last night with a pose of his own following the Penguins’ 5-2 victory at the Bell Centre.
It appears as though we now have ourselves a turf-war between these two Eastern Conference foes. With the win the Penguins split the two-game series in Montreal this season. They will need to earn another victory against the Habs in Pittsburgh on March 12 in order to avoid being swept at home.
And if I know anything about gang wars, something tells me blood will be shed in that game.
