Boston Blazers Fans Disappointed With Halftime Lap Dance Competition (Video)
Teams from the National Lacrosse League have been desperate to increase their fan base. The Boston Blazers thought a halftime lap dance competition would help them do just that, and while it did make headlines and place a spotlight on the organization, it may not be working out quite like they had hoped.
Several fans have been voicing their displeasure with what took place during the Blazers’ home opener last night at the TD Garden. With the team’s mascot, Scortch, sitting in a chair, three young ladies competed with each other to see who could give the best lap dance. Male fans watched in awe. Female fans watched in disgust. And it was all capped off with a rather inappropriate “boing” sound emanating from the stadium speakers.
Sounds like Scorch was having himself a little too much fun.
Here is a look at the story from Fox 25 News, followed by a look at the lap dance footage which was recorded by a fan in attendance. Distasteful, or deliciously enjoyable? You make the call.
