As the third-string quarterback at the University of Connecticut, Johnny McEntee must be awfully bad at reading coverages and staying patient in the pocket. With an arm like that, how else would one explain his poor position on the team’s depth chart?
I’ll bet you Blaine Gabbert and Ryan Mallet can’t nail garbage cans and hit receivers in stride while wearing a blindfold; and they are expected to be taken in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. McEntee, on the other hand, can’t even get some playing time at UConn. What’s up with that?
