Here Is The Most Tame Line-Brawl You Will Ever See (Video)

I know what you are probably thinking to yourself after reading that headline:

“Is it ever possible for a hockey line-brawl to be tame?”

My answer to that question is “Yes.”  Especially when the players willingly escort themselves to the penalty box at the conclusion of their fight, without the assistance of the referee or linesman.

The Wichita Falls Wildcats and the Amarillo Bulls of the NAHL provided us with the perfect example of a “tame line-brawl,” as all five players from each team dropped their glove to open the second period, picked a partner, threw some punches, and skated themselves to their respective penalty boxes without any further problems developing.

In fact, this line-brawl was so tame that the goalies didn’t even get involved, despite having the commentator egg them on from his press box.

It may be fair to say that the only person out of control here was the man on the mic.
