Chris Bosh Flops Following A Phantom Elbow (Video)
You could have put Chris Bosh in a soccer uniform last night and the Miami Heat forward wouldn’t have looked even the slightest bit out of place, thanks to a rather embarrassing flop he took while defending the Chicago Bulls’ Carlos Boozer.
Midway through the second quarter, it appeared as though Boozer had elbowed Bosh in the face while attempting to post him up. Bosh quickly hit the deck and spent the following ten seconds rolling around in pain, as the fans at the United Center watched a replay of the phantom elbow on the jumbotron.
The TNT commentary crew seemed to believe that Boozer’s elbow did make contact with Bosh’s nose. I’m still not buying it. This looks like a move Bosh may have learned while playing soccer with Steve Nash and company in Chinatown a few years back.
What better way to cap off a 1-for-15 shooting performance than by taking an embarrassing flop? Just “like a Bosh.”
