Blackhawks Fans Get Into It With Canucks Management (Video)

When the NHL playoffs began, plenty of attention was placed on the series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Vancouver Canucks.  These two teams share a well-publicized hatred for one another, but it appeared as though this year’s edition of their bitter rivalry would be short lived after the Canucks took a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Not so fast!

Things got a lot more interesting last night after the Blackhawks turned in a dominant performance against the Canucks, taking them behind the woodshed and beating them by a score of 7-2.  The crowd at the Madhouse on Madison was loving every second of it, and they even took the time to let the Canucks’ management know what they think of their team during a third period exchange between the two parties.

While I couldn’t tell you exactly what was said during this exchange, I’m quite certain it included something along the lines of “we beat you the last two years and won the Stanley Cup last season” from the Hawks fans, and “well, we are going to beat you this year” from the Canucks brass.

One thing I can assure you, however, is that the Canucks are in desperate need of a series-ending victory at home in Game 5, because the last thing they want is to have to make another trip to the United Center and hear “Chelsea Dagger” again this season.

Here is a look at the verbal battle between the Hawks fans and the Canucks execs.
