It Was 80s Night At The Skydome Last Night (Pics)

The 80s and early 90s were certainly a good time to be a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays.  Not only did the team finish with a record above .500 in every season from 1983 to 1993, but they also made the playoffs five times between 1985 and 1993, and won back-to-back World Series Championships in 1992 and 1993.

The Blue Jays organization looked to bring back some of those great memories as they kicked off the second half of the season by hosting an 80s night at the Skydome Rogers Center.  Those in attendance were certainly feeling it, as many fans dressed up in their neon tights, spandex workout outfits, mesh rocker t-shirts, and/or wacky wigs.  Even the popular DeLorean DMC-12 from “Back to the Future” was in attendance.

The fans weren’t the only ones caught up in 80s fever, as the Blue Jays’ players were doing their best impression of the 1980s Blue Jays teams, demolishing the Yankees by a score of 16-7.  Here is another look at 80s night in the Skydome.
