The Stat Line Of The Night — 7/25/11 — Ian Kinsler

The Texas Rangers have been having themselves quite the month of July thus far.  In addition to putting together a 12-game winning streak, which has helped them compile a 16-5 record this month, they have now also recorded the highest scoring output in the Majors this season following last night’s game against the Minnesota Twins.

With 27 hits and 20 runs scored during their 20-6 victory, we could probably dedicate this honor to the entire Texas Rangers line-up, but if we had to pick one player (which we do), it would be Ian Kinsler.  The Rangers’ second baseman led the offensive charge, going 4-for-6 at the plate with a double, a home run, two runs scored and four RBIs.  It was his first multi-hit game in his last six starts and it helped him earn the “Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, July 25, 2011.
