Stat Line Of The Night — 10/24/11 — Josh Scobee
The Baltimore Ravens entered last night’s game with a 4-1 record and their play as of late had many thinking that they may be among the top teams in the AFC. The Jacksonville Jaguars, on the other hand, had lost their last five games in a row, and with rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert leading their offensive attack, it didn’t seem out of the realm of possibility to believe that they wouldn’t be able to move the ball close enough to the Ravens’ end zone to score a single point last night.
That may have been the case, had it not been for the leg of Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee, who connected on three field goals from over 50-yards out. When it was all said and done, Scobee would hit from 54, 54, 51 and 22 yards last night, as he recorded all of the Jaguars’ points during their 12-7 victory. That earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Monday, October 24, 2011.
