The Lions Were “Tebowing” In Tebow’s Face Yesterday (Video)
One week ago, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow introduced the world to “Tebowing,” as he got down on one knee and celebrated his team’s improbable come-from-behind victory over the Miami Dolphins. Yesterday it was the Detroit Lions who were doing all of the celebratory “Tebowing” during their 45-10 romp over the Broncos.
It all started following a sack by Stephen Tulloch in the first quarter, as the Lions’ linebacker proceeded to get down on one knee and mock the former Heisman Trophy winner. That was just the beginning of the Lions’ “Tebowing,” as tight end Tony Scheffler showed everyone what he thinks about the latest fad following his second quarter touchdown.
Interestingly enough, “Tebowing” wasn’t the only thing Scheffler was mocking after his touchdown, as the former Bronco also took part in some mile-high saluting with his team leading by a score of 17-3.
Here is a look at Tulloch and Scheffler “Tebowing” their way to victory.
