Stat Line Of The Night – 1/18/12 – Andre Miller
Heading into last night, the Philadelphia 76ers hadn’t lost a game at home all season, but that was about to change thanks to the Denver Nuggets and their guard, Andre Miller.
Miller didn’t even start last night’s game at the Wells Fargo Center, but once he did step onto the court it was hard to take him off, as he was doing it all for the Nuggets. By the time the final buzzer had sounded, Miller played 39 minutes and recorded 28 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and two steals, as Denver left Philadelphia with the 108-104 victory.
After shipping Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks last season, many believed the Nuggets would suffer dearly, but that has been far from the case, as they currently find themselves sporting a 10-5 record, which is much better than the Knicks’ 6-8 record. Much of their success is the result of a deep team with several players that are capable of stepping up on any given night. Last night it was Andre Miller stepping up and it earned him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
