Pro Wrestler Jesse Sorensen Breaks Neck During TNA Pay-Per-View Event (Video)

jesse sorensen broken neckAs I have stated many times before, most of what you see take place within a professional wrestling ring is fake.  It is merely an act put on by the wrestlers that take part in these staged matches.  However, there are some injuries that simply cannot be acted out, like a cracked C1 vertebra and spinal cord swelling, which is exactly what Jesse Sorensen suffered when he was on the wrong end of a high-flying move gone bad by Zema Ion during TNA’s “Against All Odds” pay-per-view event on Sunday night.

Sorensen was taken to a hospital, where he was placed in intensive care.  Reports have since indicated that he has feeling in his legs and doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
