“Bracket Man” Is The Greatest March Madness Parody Song Ever! (Video)

bracket manI’m not sure if it is the witty lyrics or the fact that I am a fan of Elton John’s original song, “Rocket Man,” but there is something about NOC’s March Madness Parody, titled “Bracket Man,” that has simply captivated me.  In fact, I am so inspired that I think I’m going to go fill out another ten brackets for the upcoming tournament.  And maybe I’ll even have one of the First Four teams, like Western Kentucky or BYU, advancing to the Final Four, a la VCU.

Speaking of filling out brackets, who do you have in your Final Four this year?  My Final Four has Kentucky, Ohio State, North Carolina and Missouri, with Kentucky beating the Tar Heels in the finals.  And yes, picking two No. 1 seeds and two No. 2 seeds might seem a little too conservative, but something tells me that after the unlikely finals we witnessed last year, the 2012 NCAA Tournament may be one of those tourneys where everything goes according to plan.

Regardless of how you think the tournament will unfold over the coming weeks, “Bracket Man” is still a great source of inspiration for anyone preparing to fill out their bracket.

Check it out.
