KHL’s Anton Belov Kicks A Player With His Skate (Video)

belov kickIf you want to throw kicks, you should have played soccer.

That is the message someone needs to send Anton Belov of Avangard, after he delivered a kick that narrowly missed the face of Traktor’s Evgeny Kuznetsov as the Washington Capitals’ prospect laid injured on the ice.  Belov only received two-minutes for the infraction, which seems rather generous when you consider the fact that Jeff Skinner of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes was handed a two-game suspension for a much less dangerous looking kick during a game against the St. Louis Blues earlier this season.

Thankfully, the kick missed Kuznetsov’s face entirely, which probably explains why Belov chose hockey over soccer in the first place.

Check it out.
