Bojana Popović Scores A Creative Penalty Shot Goal During Women’s Handball Match (Video)

handball penalty shotYou’d think that scoring a goal on a penalty shot in handball would be quite easy, but that isn’t quite the case.  Sometimes it takes a little bit of creativity in order to fool the opposing keeper and find the back of the net. Bojana Popović of Budućnost Podgorica knows that all too well, as she used a deceptive over-the-back hook shot to beat the keeper during her team’s EHF Women’s Champions League semi-final match against Larvik HK on Sunday.

Budućnost Podgorica would go on to win the game by a score of 23-13, as they advanced to the final where they will take on Győri Audi ETO KC. We doubt any of you will be interested in watching a EHF Women’s Champions League Finals, but if any more interesting goals take place, like this one scored by Popović, we’ll be sure to bring you the highlights.
