All-American Anthony Davis Can’t Handle Extra Spicy Chicken Wing (Video)
Anthony Davis only played one year of college basketball before declaring for the NBA draft, but you’d never know it by reading the accomplishments on his resume. National Champion, Consensus First-Team All-American, 2011-12 NCAA Division I blocked shots leader, all-time single-season SEC blocked shots leader, Oscar Robertson Trophy winner, Adolph Rupp Trophy winner, AP Player of the Year, NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player—there’s just not a whole lot Davis didn’t accomplish with Kentucky last season.
However, there is one thing Anthony Davis cannot do, and that’s eat an entire “Bazin Wing” at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The Chicago native recently dined at a Buffalo Wild Wings in Florence, Kentucky, with some friends, and apparently someone dared the basketball star to take a bite of the hottest wing BWW makes. Obviously, he had to accept the challenge. Obviously, one of his friends was kind enough to take video of the attempt with his phone, then post it on YouTube. And obviously, it’s hilarious.
As we see in the video, Anthony quickly discovers that playing basketball for John Calipari did nothing to prepare him for the Blazin Wing. It gets so bad that, for a second, it looks like he’s going to take off his shirt right there in the restaurant. Luckily he comes to his senses just in time and settles for unbuttoning the collar.
