Jonathan Quick Drops Three F-Bombs At Kings Stanley Cup Rally (Video)
As one would imagine, the Los Angeles Kings have had a pretty fun week, parading the Stanley Cup all around the “City of Angels” for the very first time.
It’s first stop was the team’s favorite watering hole, a pub in Hermosa Beach, just a few hours after their victory Monday night. Then, on Tuesday morning, it was in Dustin Brown’s back yard, where his two boys drank chocolate milk out of it while dressed in their finest Spider-Man costumes. Later that night, the Cup stopped by for visits at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live, and on Wednesday it made it’s debut at Dodger Stadium before ending up at a cabaret in Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel.
So yeah, it’s been a busy week for the Kings. And yesterday it all culminated with a parade through downtown Los Angeles and a pep rally inside a packed Staples Center, where they handed the mic over to the players.
The first to address the crowd was playoff MVP Jonathan Quick, and unlike Bryce Harper, it seems as though Quick enjoys having a celebratory beverage with his buddies. Thus, his comments, which aired live on local TV and the NHL Network, were rather…colorful?
The not-so-steady-on-his-feet Jonathan Quick didn’t just one-up Kings captain Dustin Brown, who dropped his own f-bomb on Monday night. He two-upped him, dropping three f-bombs.
Man I love hockey.
