Dwyane Wade Can’t Say Mario Chalmers’ Name Without Droppping the F-Bomb (Video)
LeBron James may have had the most impressive stat line for the Miami Heat during their 104-98 Game Four victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but with both James and Dwyane Wade nursing injuries down the stretch, it was Mario Chalmers who stepped up for the Heat.
The former Jayhawk had a clutch performance during the 2008 NCAA Championship Game against Memphis, when he hit a three-pointer with 2.1 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game into overtime. Kansas would take over in the extra frame, en route to the NCAA title and Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament honors for Chalmers.
Last night, the 26-year-old point guard was having yet another clutch-performance for the ages, as he scored 12 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including each of the Heat’s last five points during their six-point victory.
That performance down the stretch from Chalmers helped the Heat take a 3-1 NBA Finals series lead, and it elicited the following response from Dwyane Wade as the teams made their way to their respective locker rooms (0:23 mark):
“Mario Mutherf*ckin Chalmers” indeed!
