Beach Ball On A String Delays The College World Series (Video)
Omaha, Nebraska isn’t known for their beaches (probably because of the fact that they don’t really have any), but they may soon be known for their beach balls, as hundreds of them were tossed onto the field at TD Ameritrade Park during Game Two of the College World Series yesterday.
With Arizona leading South Carolina 1-0 in the middle of the fourth inning, play had to be delayed for several minutes, as fans in the outfield bleachers littered the field with hundreds of beach balls.
The grounds crew was able to clear most of the balls off the field, but much to their chagrin, they couldn’t clear them all, as one dude in the stands was utilizing the ball-on-a-string trick to a tee.
Check it out.
