The Ohio State Marching Band’s Tribute To The Beach Boys Was Awesome (Video & GIF)
A few years ago, the University of Hawaii marching band blew us all away when their formation took the shape of a giant football player kicking a football.
But if you thought that was impressive, wait until you see this.
At last week’s season opener in Columbus, the Ohio State Marching Band put on a halftime performance for the ages. The show was a tribute to the Beach Boys, which I would normally make fun of, seeing as how the Beach Boys are sooo popular right now. But they didn’t just play the songs. They acted them out in their formations.
I don’t want to spoil it for you by describing what happens, however, so just watch the video.

Yep, I don’t care how lame a Beach Boys Tribute is, that surfer formation was just cool as hell…Well, at least for the people on the right side of the stadium. I’m assuming the folks on the other side weren’t all that impressed.
