Watch The Ohio University Marching Band Do The “Gangnam Style” (Video)

Just when everybody finally stopped doing covers, dances, and parodies of Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” PSY comes along and gives the world “Gangnam Style.”

In case you live under a rock (and that rock doesn’t have wifi), “Gangnam Style” is the latest song and dance craze sweeping the internet. It’s by a South Korean musician named Park Jae-Sang who goes by the stage name “PSY,” and the video features the somewhat portly guy doing a bunch of intentionally corny dance moves that people have now started to imitate.

People like who?

Well, the Ohio University Bobcats Marching band, for one. On Saturday the Bobcats hosted the Norfolk State Spartans, and during halftime the marching band surprised the crowd when they all put down their instruments and did the “Gangnam Style.”

Check it out:

Pretty awesome, right? I mean, it’s not as impressive as Ohio State’s tribute to the Beach Boys, but it’s definitely more timely.

However, I suggest you watch it again right now, while it’s still cool. Two weeks from now you’re going to be sick to death of Gangnam Style.

Oh, and just for the hell of it, here’s the official video for “Gangnam Style”:
