Paul Bissonnette Got Punked Pretty Good By Other NHL Players At The BioSteel Hockey Camp This Summer (Video)
Every summer, a group of 30 or so NHL players and NHL hopefuls gather in Toronto to take part in an elite week-long training camp run by the two biggest trainers in the game: Matt Nichol and Gary Roberts. It’s called the BioSteel camp, players foot the bill for it themselves, and it is in such high demand that there is now a waiting list to attend. In fact, this year participants included guys like Steven Stamkos, Tyler Seguin, Jeff Skinner, and James Neal.
The exact location? Well, that’s kept secret so fans and autograph seekers don’t show up. Then they hire off-duty cops to work security, just in case.
Of course, all of this exclusivity and security means the BioSteel camp is the perfect place to pull an epic prank. And it just so happens that this is exactly what they did this year to one of hockey’s most engaging personalities: Paul Bissonnette, a.k.a. BizNasty.
When the Phoenix Coyotes forward showed up on the first day of camp, he was greeted by a very skeptical security guard who said she did not have him on her list. From there, Bissonnette is questioned and then given a pat-down while they search his car. Finally, he comes to the realization that he is being punked when they claim they need to perform a strip search.
It’s pretty awesome. Take a look:
