Canadiens’ Defenseman P.K. Subban Is Moonlighting as a Weatherman During NHL Lockout (Video)
Unfortunately for hockey fans, this stupid NHL lockout is still going strong, and it doesn’t look like there is an end in sight. That means the majority of your favorite players—like Henrik Zetterberg, Evgeni Malkin, and Claude Giroux—will remain in Europe for the time being, playing for lesser clubs in random countries.
Of course, not every NHL player decided to go play overseas during the lockout. Some, like the Montreal Canadiens’ P.K. Subban, decided to stick around and get some non-hockey-related career experience.
So what is everyone’s favorite jabbermouth up to these days? Well, yesterday he stopped by the CTV Montreal studio to do the weather on the local news.
Why the weather, and not sports? Who knows. I guess he wanted to show he’s got a diverse skill set.

It’s hardly surprising to see that the NHL’s most notorious talker had trouble keeping it brief.
Still, I have to admit, he did much better than most NHLers would do. I’d say Subban has a bright future in broadcasting the weather when his playing days are done.
