Oregon Started The Fiesta Bowl Off With a Bang (Videos)
The Oregon Ducks may not be the best college football team in the nation, but they are definitely the most exciting. For proof of that fact, look no further than the opening seconds of last night’s Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.
Kansas State entered the game knowing that they would have to find a way to slow down the speedy Ducks, but they were unable to do so on the first play of the game, as Oregon running back DeAnthony Thomas took the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown.

Needless to say, there was a look of disbelief on the faces of several K-State fans in the stands just 12 seconds into the game.

And if the shock of an opening kickoff return for a touchdown against their team wasn’t already too much for the Wildcat fans in attendance to bear, the Ducks followed that up by going for the two-point conversion. And they would succeed, thanks to this creative play call:
That’s one way to deflate the opposing team and their fans. And it seemed to work quite well for the Ducks on this occasion, as they cruised from there, en route to the 35-17 Fiesta Bowl victory.
