During last night’s big college basketball matchup between the Kentucky Wildcats and the Ole Miss Rebels, junior guard Marshall Henderson lost his cool and threw ice at fans in the Ole Miss student section.
That would have been bad enough if Henderson played for Kentucky, but he doesn’t. Henderson plays for Ole Miss. In fact, he’s their star player, averaging 19.3 points per game along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals. Without this guy, the Rebels wouldn’t be having the shockingly good season they are having. They came into their game against KU on Tuesday ranked 16th in the nation with a 17-2 record overall and a 6-0 record in the SEC.
And not only is Marshall good, but he’s what you might call a “loose cannon” who does stuff like this:
For these reasons, the fans at Ole Miss love Marshall Henderson. That’s why they often come to games with signs like this:
But alas, last night Henderson got a little carried away during the Rebs’ 87-84 loss to Kentucky. And when some Ole Miss fans threw ice out onto the court, he threw it back at them. Hard.

And here’s an animated GIF:
And to make matters worse, Henderson then proceeded to get into a heated shouting match with his coach, Andy Kennedy.
Anyway, if you haven’t been following Marshall Henderson, you definitely should. He’s a character.
