Toronto Raptors Comedian/Small Forward Mickael Pietrus Messes with Two NBA TV Analysts (Video)
Toronto Raptors forward Mickael Pietrus has carved out a pretty nice career for himself as a solid and reliable bench man. In 10 years with the Warriors, Magic, Suns, Celtics and Raptors, he’s averaged 8.4 points and 3.1 assists in 21.5 minutes per game. So, you know, there are worse guys to have on your bench.
However, Pietrus’s greatest contribution to a team probably comes in the locker room. The dude is without a doubt one of the biggest goofballs in the NBA, so it must be awfully nice to have him around every once in a while to lighten the mood.
So what kinds of things does Pietrus do? Well, on Wednesday night in Cleveland, while NBA TV analysts Paul Jones and Sherman Hamilton were trying to have a discussion about the Raptors prior to their game against the Cavaliers, Pietrus showed up in the background…dancing.
Take a look:
Of course, that wasn’t the first time the guy messed with a sports broadcaster. Last year, when the 31-year-old Frenchman was with the Celtics, he had a little fun with a Comcast SportsNet reporter at TD Bank Gardens in Boston:
And then there was this interview with another CSN reporter, which was going along like most post-game interviews…until the very end:
That’s solid stuff. Keep up the nice work, Mickael.
