MMA Fighter Knocked Out Cold Just 8 Seconds Into Round One (Video)
I’ve got to hand it to MMA fighters. Regardless of their actual skill or fitness level, these men and women are brave. I’d definitely be way too scared that, upon entering the octagon, I’d get kicked in the head and knocked unconscious within the first ten seconds…kind of like the guy in the video we’re about to show you.
The video comes from what I assume was an amateur event called Operation Octagon XXII held back on December 1, 2012, in Manassas Park, Virginia. In the 205-pound weight class, a guy named Francis Grant was knocked unconscious by a kick to the head from opponent Scott Noble just 8 seconds into the match.
Seriously, just 8 seconds. Noble’s left foot strikes Grant just below his right ear, and Grant falls to the mat like a giant redwood.
Oh, and what’s worse is that Grant isn’t limp, like a sack of potatoes. Even on the ground he’s stiff as a board, and you can see his right foot pointed and twitching.
Just take a look for yourself:
I don’t know about you, but I think Frank should be more like me and leave the MMA fighting to others. He doesn’t seem cut out for it.
