Cleveland Cavaliers Fan with Message for LeBron James Runs Onto the Court (Video)

Ever since LeBron James ditched his home town of Cleveland live on ESPN, the guy has been enemy number one in that old berg. The Cavaliers’ owner published a scathing letter to the King, fans across the city burned his jersey in the streets, and when the guy won a championship last year, Cavs fans did not take it well at all.

But you know what? After all that, there’s a strange thing happening in Cleveland. It seems some of the long-suffering sports fans in that city are so desperate for redemption that they’re starting to do the unthinkable: they are begging LeBron to come home. Seriously.

LeBron is a free agent again after 2014. And there have been some rumblings that, hey, maybe if he wins a couple rings in Miami, he’ll consider returning to Cleveland.

Personally, I’d say that’s a long shot. However, with the Miami Heat and their 23-game winning streak in town to take on the Cavaliers last night, one Cleveland fan recognized a perfect opportunity to kickstart the “LeBron Come Home” campaign. So during the 4th quarter, after LeBron and the Heat had erased a 27-point 3rd quarter deficit, this kid ran out onto the court and interrupted the game.

Take a look:

And what’s that message hand-written on his white t-shirt? Here’s a better look:

That’s right. “2014 Come Back.” I bet you didn’t see that coming.

P.S. The front said, “We Miss You,” in case you were wondering.
