Andrew Wiggins Throws Down a Reverse 360 Through-The-Legs Dunk at JamFest (Video)
For those who have never heard of Andrew Wiggins, he’s an 18-year-old basketball phenom who was born in Toronto, Ontario, and is currently playing out his senior year at Huntington Prep High School in Huntington, West Virginia. Just recently, he was named the 2013 Naismith Prep Player of the Year and the 2013 Gatorade Boy’s Basketball National Player of the Year.
The high-flying forward still has one year of NCAA basketball ahead of him before becoming eligible to enter the 2014 NBA Draft, but at the moment he is already a heavy favorite to be selected first overall and earn himself NBA Rookie of the Year honors in 2014-15.
Oh, and after watching the video below, I’d say he’s also an early favorite to win the 2015 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Don’t believe me? Just check out the reverse, 360, through-the-legs slam that he threw down during the Powerade JamFest, prior to this year’s McDonald’s All-American Game.
Impressive, isn’t it? Now all we have to do is hope that Andrew doesn’t pull a LeBron James on us and refuse to take part in a dunk contest that he will almost certainly win.
