Stat Line of the Night — 4/10/2013 — Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris

The last time two players on the same team recorded at least 30 points and 19 rebounds was on March 15, 1967, when Willis Reed and Walt Bellamy did it while playing for the New York Kicks.  So, it goes without saying that this is quite the rare feat, and it was accomplished once again last night by Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris of the Orlando Magic.

The Magic players may not have much to play for these days, as their playoff hopes were dashed a while ago, but don’t tell that to Vucevic or Harris, as each of them scored 30 points and they added 20 and 19 rebounds, respectively, during a 113-103 victory over the playoff-bound Milwaukee Bucks.

The Magic will miss the playoffs for the first time since the 2005-06 season, but with rising stars like Vucevic, Harris and Maurice Harkless expected to man their front-court for years to come, the future is looking bright for this young squad.  Last night we all got a good look at that bright future, as Vucevic and Harris earn “The Stat Line of the Night” for Wednesday, April 10, 2013.
